Bodyweight Workouts | A solution for the busiest of lifestyles

I don’t know about you, but since college I’ve had a REALLY hard time making it to the gym on a regular basis. As a 40-hour a week worker, 15 hour a week soccer coach, full time mom, pet owner, and aspiring blogger, I have very little free time on my hands.  And after several years juggling this busy schedule,  I began to feel a bit dispirited about my situation and lack of adequate exercise. Then, awhile back I stumbled across this quote on pinterest:

Every new day is a chance to change your life.

I’m not sure exactly what the novelty was for me, but there was something motivating in those words.

Shortly thereafter, I started doing body weight workouts at home…it was love at first sight….or maybe first sit-up… 😉

Now, I do these nearly every night in my bedroom right before I head to bed. No equipment needed… just a little chunk of my time (I do approx. 20 minutes a day).

I’ve found that there are TONS of upside to body weight workouts. They are efficient, easily modifiable, convenient for busy schedules, low cost, low risk of injury, and never boring!
